Master of Business Administration (MBA)



The first block of study is basic block, the same for all students. It contains 5 modules that focus on the practical deepening of knowledge in the field of management, strategic management, finance, marketing, and human resources. Course takes place on the weekends, it is divided into 2 course days and led by professional team of lecturers, which provides students with valuable advice and experience that can be applied especially in practice.

Management

Syllabus

The module introduces students to important principles, modern methods, tools, and management procedures within the organization. It focuses mainly on practical skills that can be used in corporate management. The module is also focused on sequential (planning, organizing, people management, control) and parallel (analysis, decision-making, implementation) management functions and their practical use. At the same time, it deals with the profile and competencies of the manager as key prerequisites for the successful performance of a managerial function. In this context, attention is paid to the typology of managerial styles through which the manager exercises his influence and power.

Strategic Management

Syllabus

Strategic management is one of the most important aspects of the development of the company as a whole. Choosing the optimal strategy is nowadays a key element for the successful operation of the company and its position in the market. The aim of the module is therefore to acquaint students with the role, content, and creation of partial strategies and the overall strategy of the company. Students will learn how to formulate a long-term strategy, how to set company goals and appropriate ways to achieve them. They will get acquainted with the strategic analysis of the company, which are an integral part of choosing the appropriate strategy for the company.

Financial Management

Syllabus

Financial management is a key part of corporate governance. The aim of the module is therefore to acquaint students with the principles of financial management and to draw attention to the possibilities and weaknesses in building an optimal system of economic management of the company. After completing this module, students will be able to provide the basis for the implementation of operational and investment financial decisions in the company. The module contains topics such as the essence of financial management, economic and financial analysis, risk and its impact on financial decision-making, strategic long-term decision-making or work capital, and liquidity management.

Marketing and Public Relations

Syllabus

The aim of the module is to introduce students to the issues of marketing and public relations and to acquaint them with modern trends in this area. The module will introduce not only the marketing mix and practice of marketing communication but also new marketing techniques such as WOM, viral, guerrilla, internet, mobile marketing, and product placement. Students will understand the role of PR in the brand-building system, as well as the importance of reputation management in non-branded fields or communication in crisis situations. After completing the module, students will be familiar with the possibilities of using a wide range of public relations tools, understand the principles and specifics of working with advertising, media, and PR agencies or journalists will be able to design a suitable marketing strategy or concept for a communication campaign.

Human Resource Management

Syllabus

Skilled and loyal employees are the cornerstones of any company. This module deals with human resources management and development. The aim of the module is to acquaint students with various methods of human resource management and current trends in HR. Students will learn how to get qualified and quality staff or how to motivate properly. After completing this module, each student will be able to effectively use human capital to gain a competitive advantage and build a prosperous and successful company.
