Applicants for the MBA program must provide evidence of a diploma of completed higher education, at least in a bachelor’s degree program, or completed BBA program. Applicants without a university degree may also be admitted to study on the basis of an exemption in the case of proven managerial experience and a high school diploma. Applicants are admitted to study without entrance examination or entrance interviews. See information in the Conditions of Admission section.

The standard price for MBA studies is 4.653 € without VAT. However, we have currently prepared a special offer for our students, for more information please see the Tuition. Section The limited-time offer applies to all MBA specializations. You can also spread your tuition fees over up to 12 installments without increasing the cost of your studies.

You can apply for MBA studies online on our website in electronic form, by sending through post or delivering in person to the study department. If the application is fully submitted and the necessary documents are attached (proof of the last educational qualification or proof of work experience), a contract on the studies will be sent to the applicant together with information on the further procedure. After signing the contract and paying the first installment of the tuition fee, the applicant will be given access to student section, where he can find all the materials for his studies, including study materials.

You can apply to study MBA programs at ESBM at any time during the year. So there is no need to wait for semesters to start or to deal with the opening of a required program. Within the e-learning system, all study materials are immediately available and you can start studying right away.

The MBA studies are conducted in Czech or English and combine modern e-learning with interactive workshops. The study is divided into 3 blocks and each block is further divided into individual modules. 1st BLOCK – basic – contains 5 modules. Within the 2nd BLOCK – specialized – students choose one specialization, which is further divided into 3 modules. With the 3rd BLOCK – optional – students choose 2 modules from a wide offer of optional modules. Over the course of their studies, students attend 4 full-day seminars, which take place on weekends (Saturdays). All specializations can be studied at a discounted price also in online form of study (without the possibility of attending course days). The output are seminar papers or case studies, at the end student prepares a final thesis and its defense that concludes the study.

As this is one of the highest level of management education, the student is not required to attend the full-time part. So there is no such thing as “compulsory attendance.” However, it is highly recommended that the student attends the lessons, as the personal meeting with a lecturer is a major added value to the studies. If the student is not interested in attending course days, all specializations can also be studied in online study form at a discounted price.

MBA study in English is offered in a total of 8 specializations. After enrolling for the program, you will receive access data to the student section, where you will find all study materials, syllabus and instructional videos for individual modules. During the program, it is necessary to prepare 6 seminar papers and the final thesis and its Defense in front of a three-member committee.

The specializations of the MBA program in English are provided completely online. It is possible to study with the help of available study materials from lecturers and educational videos, which you can watch whenever it suits you, which ensures a high possibility of study flexibility. The defense of the Final thesis also takes place online using the ZOOM platform.

The ESBM Team of lecturers is comprised of professionals in the field. The diversity of lecturers ensures expert coverage of the individual specializations that students choose within their studies. Students can be sure that they will have a specialist in each module. The lecturers are fully available to the students throughout their studies.

A written thesis that demonstrates the student’s understanding of the subject matter and the actual application in practice. The purpose of the thesis is mainly the student’s own argumentation, his/her views and opinions. The student prepares three term papers for the first block, two papers for the second block and one term paper for the third block.

The standard duration of the MBA program at ESBM is 1 year. At the student’s request, MBA studies may be extended, interrupted or terminated for personal or professional reasons.

The study concludes with the preparation of a final thesis and its defense in front of the committee. Successful graduates will subsequently obtain a professional MBA degree.

A successful graduate proves the extension of managerial education beyond university studies by obtaining an MBA degree. However, according to the current legislation on universities in the Czech Republic, an MBA degree is not considered as an academic degree, but a professional degree, with a title written after the name.
