Ing. Martin Slažanský, Ph.D.

Ing. Martin Slažanský, Ph.D. is an experienced PMO leader in various industrial companies, managing complex projects ranging from product development and contract delivery to investments in buildings and technologies. He spent 10 years in the defence industry as a Project Manager and later as a PMO Manager. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine triggered rapid growth in the defence industry, forcing companies to improve project management and introduce standardized processes. Martin specializes in these areas, from defining corporate strategy and aligning it with projects to project delivery and the implementation of standard processes. Martin currently works as a PMO Quality Assurance Expert at UNIQA CZ, focusing on the development, methodology and quality assurance of projects, programmes, portfolios and PMOs, primarily in IT.

He also shares his expertise at the Chamber of Project Managers as a Steering Committee Member and Programme Director, as well as PMO Stream Leader, connecting project management offices across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
