Mgr. Zuzana Chytková, Ph.D.



Mgr. Zuzana Chytková, Ph.D. studied marketing and market research at the University of Pisa, where she subsequently obtained a European doctorate. Since 2010 she has been working at the Department of Marketing at the University of Economics in Prague in the field of consumer behavior. She specializes in research on symbolic, socio-historical and cultural aspects of consumption. She is currently involved in the NAKI project – Effective methodologies for supporting small and medium-sized entities in the cultural sector funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the project of the University of Economics in Prague, “The Role of Customers in Czech Companies” and the project of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic entitled “Marketing Importance of Body Image.” In addition to the University of Pisa, she has worked at universities in Denmark and France, with which she continues to work closely. She regularly presents her work at international conferences in the United States, the United Kingdom and France. She is the author of a number of publications published in international journals such as Advances in Consumer Research; Consumption, Markets and Culture (Routledge) and Research in Consumer Behavior (Emerald). She is a board member of the Marketing Institute and the Association for Consumer Research, an international professional organization.
