New DBA Specialization: Project Management
ESBM is expanding its range of DBA specializations with Project Management, which combines strategic project management with the financial and legal aspects of projects and modern approaches to project delivery. It is designed for those who want to deepen their project management knowledge and apply it to strategic decision-making and the management of complex projects.
What will you learn in this specialization?
The specialization focuses on three key areas of project management. In the Project Management module, students explore strategic planning, project portfolio management, project risks, and the individual phases of the project life cycle.
The Project Legislation and Financial Management module introduces the legal and contractual aspects of projects, budgeting, financial controlling, and investment return assessment. Students gain a broader understanding of the economic and legal considerations involved in project management.
The third module, Project Approaches and Methods, focuses on traditional and agile methodologies, including Waterfall, PRINCE2, Scrum, and SAFe. Students learn to assess their suitability and select the most appropriate approaches based on the nature of a project and the needs of an organization.
Applications are now open. The program takes 1 year to complete and can be studied in a combined format or 100% online.
