List of Specialized Modules
Sustainable Manufacturing
This module focuses on practical approaches to reducing the carbon footprint in manufacturing companies while simultaneously increasing productivity and economic returns. Students will learn about energy audits, resource consumption optimization, waste heat recovery, production digitalization, and sustainability-supporting technologies. The teaching is based on real data and case studies from Czech industry. Students will also gain an overview of methods for monitoring environmental impacts, ways to evaluate them, and certification according to standards such as ISO or ESG. The module emphasizes practical applicability and identification of specific savings and investment opportunities.
