Marketing Communication

Syllabus

The course provides a comprehensive overview of various forms of marketing communication (advertising, direct marketing, online communication, public relations, sales promotion and personal selling). The course is focused on their functions, theoretical foundations and practical applications.

Modern Trends in Marketing

Syllabus

This module aims to teach students how to think in modern marketing ways, taking into account the specific and constantly evolving environment of the Internet and social networks. Marketing communication in this world has its own specific features, which also result in various new possibilities for reaching, engaging, satisfying and retaining the customer. Students will also gain knowledge of various modern and current trends in marketing.

Marketing Strategies and Planning

Syllabus

Students will learn to create strategies and plans with the maximum use of appropriate marketing tools and gain an overview of different types of strategies, be it distribution, communication or even product and price strategies. They will also learn to set realistic goals, define suitable target groups, prepare key messages, design possible tools and channels of communication with customers and, last but not least, add something interesting and engaging to an already running or emerging campaign. During the lesson, the lecturer will focus on current promotion trends and preview which trends “take” the most on different target groups, i.e. how to choose the right trend for the right target group.
