Personnel Activities in the Organisation

Syllabus

The educational module is focused on the practical acquisition of personnel activities that fall into the field of personnel management in the company or organization. It is mainly about using appropriate motivational means and creating positive relationships and climate in the workplace. Students will get acquainted with the methods and strategies of recruitment, with the processes of hiring and remuneration. The analysis and creation of job descriptions and personnel planning will also be discussed. We will discuss the topic of termination of employment and the creation of a useful database for personnel purposes. The aim of the module is to gain a good orientation in the issue and especially to try selected personnel activities directly in business practice.

Processes and Strategic Human Resource Management

Syllabus

The aim of this module is to point out new trends reflecting the current requirements and needs of human resources practice. Students will get acquainted with the methods and strategies of selecting and recruiting suitable staff. The module will introduce modern forms and methods in the field of staff training. Another indispensable part of practical training consists of topics such as effective decision-making, evaluation and remuneration of employees, types and methods of competence development, work organization, delegation of powers and responsibilities or age management issues.

Modern Methods in Personnel Management

Syllabus

Within the module, students will get acquainted with the latest trends that are applied in personnel management of global companies and consulting companies. After studying the educational materials, the teaching will take place in the form of a moderated discussion, during which students will learn to critically assess these new methods and trends and introduce them meaningfully into their working lives. From the practical seminar, students will gain both theoretical knowledge and especially knowledge of specific ways and methods in the field of personnel management.
